Stock 11479.1 Oil on artist board, unsigned, Belgian, Probably Ca 1940 This painting is an anomaly. It very beautifully executed using pointillist technique. The striking use of color is reminiscent of Eugene Van Mierlo, 1880-1972 who did not, to our knowledge, employ pointillism. It could be a student of Van Rysselberghe however the use of mixed colors is more subtle here. We like it very much but, being unattributed, we must offer is at a modest price. Dimensions, famed 23×27 inches
